Happy Valentine's Day!

I keep on saying that I'm going to start blogging again (I guess I can't really say again since I've never really been a consistent blogger) but then I can't decide where to start. So, this time I'm just going to start. :)

So, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! Cols was such a cutie, getting me cookies and a gorgeous Orchid from my favorite florist.

As romantic as cookies and flowers are, however, I have to say that Valentine's would not be the same if it weren't for jelly beans and cupcakes from nieces and nephews and my parents trying to doorbell ditch us after they told us they were coming. :)

We spent Valentine's night with Colson's Priests Quorum. Sounds really romantic, right? It actually was. The Priests in our ward were invited by a YWs leader in another ward to come for dinner and a dating panel. Colson is the Priests Quorum advisor, so we jumped in the car and shuttled 5 priests down to Utah county for their romantic evening.

It was so cute--the girls had prepared questions for the guys that were obviously really heart-felt. These guys handled them like champs! It brought back so many memories of high school in general, but made Colson and I laugh as we thought about ourselves dating at that age. It's crazy to think how far we've come in 10 years!!

Speaking of how far we've come, when Cols and I were in San Francisco this past year, we went to Fisherman's Wharf and I couldn't help but go into Rain Forest Cafe to have our picture taken in the same place that we did 8 years earlier on our high school art history trip. We put the photos up next to each other at our house...

More to come...I promise!

Wow, I almost fell off my chair when I realized that you had posted on your blog!

I'm glad that the treats we brought you were almost as good as those gorgeous coookies & orchids! :)
